Ake: just look everywhere. Even if it is NOT meant for discussion. An example a FB status is not primarily a discussion topic, but a mere expression of ones feeling or thought, but it can become a topic for 'discussion' when someone starts to comment on it. I said, 'an example'.......

A FB status is an expression of feelings or thoughts of the owner, why should some other people felt challenged or provoked? If a person comments on the status of another person, why should he or she felt challenged when the owner defends his or her status? Where is the freedom of having own feelings and thoughts? Where is tolerance? If someone ... Read morecannot express his feelings or thoughts which could be different from that of others', where is democracy. Where is the respect for the owner of his or her FB home? If it is a note and comments are invited then that is meant for discussion. Then differences are expected, and tolerance is also expected. But again, there should be good ettiquette in presenting the views.

hm... i think i can post 'unprovocative thoughts' on my status; but then those whose going to think it's of any use are those currently attending their secondary or maybe even tertiary education....

come to think of it; most of my status updates are worth more than 2 cents.... people who read it and felt something should be thankful i didn't charge anything for it.

kalau debat selalunya antara dua pihak sahaja. Muzakarah boleh lebih drpd satu pihak. Muzakarah ada bawa maksud "negotiation", "consultation", "conference", "deliberation", "learning", "memorizing", "study". Debat drpd BI yang bawa maksud: "to discuss opposing reasons", "argue opposing sides of questions", "to dispute", ....

just to add up..rasanya kalau "debat", you won't easily get the solution. Tapi, kalau "muzakarah", "perbincangan", ruang penyelesaian akan lebih terbuka...debat Shabery-DSAI, Khairy-Husam.. ada bawak penyelesaiankah?

itu antara mereka, tapi debat org tak buat tertutup, org buat terbuka. muzakarah tertutup. utk saya debat atau muzakarah ni hanya terma...yg org x selesa ialah bila mereka x tahu content, spekulasi berlaku. kiranya desakan untuk participate dari org ramai.

debate is not better than muzakarah...neither muzakarah is not better than debate... there's giv another meaning for both of them... it's depend on wht,hw,why,who etc...so, the issue is, hw dare r u to let people know tht u r rite or wrong...peace no war...

agree Fauzi, I put it in the context: baca tulisan Ustaz Nasruddin. I never agree dgn sikap org nak tunjuk mereka lebih Islam - regardless who they are.
